“We thank Governor Hochul and Empire State Development for this $1 million grant that will act as a catalyst for launching the renovation of the former Masonic building as 29 new apartments with ground floor retail.

This grant award will help our County economic development team renovate this five-story structure at the corner of State Street and Erie Boulevard. Built in 1912, the former Masonic Temple is an important part of Schenectady’s history and its restoration will protect our heritage and continue the successful transformation of downtown Schenectady.”
