Another Firm Moves to Schenectady County Community Business Center

Schenectady, N.Y., October 2, 2007 — Schenectady County officials today announced that Applied Business Concepts (ABC) Contracting LLC is moving into the Schenectady County Community Business Center, renting a 388 sq. ft suite. The facilities will include a reception area, offices and a storage area for inventory. The Business Center is home to 11 companies and the entire 25,000 square foot facility is now leased except for 894 square feet of office space.

Steve T. Kaufman and Carlos J. Ramirez are the owners of ABC Contracting. The owners have extensive experience in the contracting industry. The company’s mission is to provide top-quality interior and exterior residential and commercial general contracting services.

Gary Hughes, Chair of the Economic Development Committee of the Schenectady County Legislature and a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Center said, “It is gratifying to see the growth of the County’s business incubator. One or two more small office tenants and we reach 100% occupancy for the first time ever.”
