ITR America Picks Rotterdam Corporate Park for Northeast Distribution Center

Schenectady, N.Y., May 29, 2012 – The Galesi Group today announced that ITR America has signed a lease for 43,000 square feet of space at Building 14 at the Rotterdam Corporate Park located in Schenectady County. ITR America is one of the largest independent suppliers of parts for construction equipment in North America with headquarters in Hobart, Indiana and distribution/service centers in 16 locations in the United States and Canada.

Brett Clemens from ITR America said, “Our new Rotterdam Corporate Park location will allow us to increase ITR products in the region and improve customer service to dealers located in the Northeast. ITR America has built a solid reputation with customers for providing overnight and next-day product availability, and our new Schenectady County distribution facility will help us provide exceptional customer service.”

The Rotterdam Corporate Park is home to Railex, Fedex Freight, Price Chopper’s Frozen Foods Distribution Center, J&B Importers, Distribution Unlimited and many other companies. The Galesi Group is the Capital Region’s largest real estate developer and the Rotterdam Corporate Park is the largest business park in Capital Region with more than 4 million square feet of space.

Building 14 is owned by the Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority and is master leased to the Galesi Group. Metroplex purchased the building, formerly used as a warehouse and bakery by OGS to redevelop the 260,000 square foot property, one of the largest industrial buildings in Schenectady County.
