ROTTERDAM, N.Y. — After months of anticipation, the ALDI supermarket that sits at the Five Corners intersection is set to open Thursday.
The new location at 3075 Broadway in Rotterdam will replace the German-based supermarket chain’s State Street location in Schenectady, which closed on Wednesday.
Aaron Sumida, a regional vice president for ALDI, said the new location will provide shoppers with a greater experience while maintaining the affordable prices the company is known for.
