Proctors Reveals Outstanding Slate of Hit Shows for 2014-2015 Key Private Bank Broadway Series

SCHENECTADY, NY—APRIL 3, 2014—Only at Proctors! From Disney’s Newsies,which will launch its North American tour in Schenectady, to Kinky Boots, winner of the 2013 Tony Award® for Best Musical.

Nodding to its Vaudeville roots, Proctors, on Thursday evening, revealed its 2014–2015 Key Private Bank Broadway Series during a “sold out” Mainstage variety show in front of over 2,500 invited subscribers, members, group leaders and supporters.

The Key Private Bank Broadway Series Bash event, emceed by Time Warner Cable News Anchor/Reporter Karen Tararache, featured acts, artists, surprises and iconic elements from each show in the upcoming season, presented in genuine Vaudeville style.

The 2014-2015 series includes the hottest touring Broadway titles available: Newsies, Jersey Boys, The Illusionists, Annie, Pippin and Kinky Boots.

“Typically we do five shows in a season,” said Proctors CEO Philip Morris. “Last season, we added a sixth show to our Key Private Bank Broadway Series. It was popular with our subscribers, so we’re doing it again; there is no better value in Capital Region entertainment. We’re so pleased to present these amazing shows to the community. Among the live performers Thursday at Proctors, the Capital Region’s premier arts and entertainment complex, were: Liana Hunt and Brendon Stimson from Newsies; John Michael Dias, Brent DiRoma and Leslie Rochette from Jersey Boys; Kevin James, The Inventor, and Dan Sperry, the Anti-Conjuror from The Illusionists: Witness The Impossible; animal trainer Bill Berloni and Sunny fromAnnie; and Billy Harrigan Tighe and Brad Henderson from Pippin.
