(Schenectady, NY) Last year the  Town of Rotterdam won back their title for the best tasting drinking water in Schenectady County and then went all the way to the New York State Fair where they were crowned Best Tasting Drinking Water in New York State.   Will they retrain their title in 2015 or lose it to past New York State Champions City of Schenectady or Town of Niskayuna?  Or will Glenville, Scotia or Princetown be victorious?

Find out Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 11am – 1pm as local municipalities in Schenectady County do battle to determine who has the best tasting drinking water.   The winner will go on to the regional competition in Albany and if successful, the State finals held at the New York State Fair in Syracuse.

“Schenectady County is proud to have some of the most popular and tastiest drinking water in New York State as evidenced by our State Champions Town of Niskayuna, City of Schenectady and Town of Rotterdam,” said Anthony Jasenski, Chair of the Schenectady County Legislature.  “Our residents get to be the judge, so I encourage everyone to come down to the Farmers Market and choose who will represent Schenectady County in the Regional and State competitions.”
