DHA Triples in Size in Glenville

Schenectady County Loan Fund Helps Company Grow in Glenville

March 10, 2012

Schenectady County, N.Y. — Schenectady County today announced that Integrated Fab Technologies, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of DHA Holdings, Inc. (DHA) will triple the size of its production facility at the Glenville Business and Technology Park from 12,000 to 36,000 square feet. DHA also has the option to lease an additional 24,000 square feet of production space to accommodate future planned growth. Schenectady County is providing a $100,000 loan through its revolving loan fund to help the company’s expansion that will create between 30 and 40 new jobs over the next three years.

“We are excited that DHA has committed to grow their company here in Schenectady County,” said Marty Finn, Chair of the Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee. “We thank them for investing in Schenectady County when they could be anywhere in the world.”

DHA President David Dussault said, “We continue to serve the needs of our customers in the power generation sector. Our facility in Glenville gives us the space we need to continue to expand our production to handle new orders. We appreciate the support of Schenectady County, Pioneer Bank, the SBA and the New York Business Development Corporation as they assist us in making this expansion possible. We also thank the Galesi Group for their support in providing additional leased space in Building 204 and for their ongoing support for our continued expansion.”

DHA is a vertically integrated process engineering business that provides high speed CNC machining and large fabrication services to produce complex parts, fabricated systems and engineered assemblies for the power generation and oil/gas industries. The company has recently landed new orders to build gas turbine skid systems for GE with products shipped to GE’s aero derivative plant in Houston, Texas.

DHA is also serving GE Schenectady by qualifying a c-coil manufacturing process. This product is used in the assembly of turbine-generators.

A subcontractor in China previously performed the c-coil work. DHA is using the $100,000 loan from Schenectady County combined with an additional $1.3 million in SBA backed bank financing through Pioneer Bank to move the production of c-coils from China to Schenectady County in addition to several other manufacturing projects.

Integrated Fab Technologies, LLC is located in Building 204 at the Glenville Business and Technology Park, one of a network of smart growth business parks in Schenectady County. The Glenville facility is located just off of Exit 26 of the NYS Thruway.

DHA also operates a 17,000 square foot machining operation on Front Street in the City of Schenectady and is rehabbing 414 Union Street as its corporate headquarters.
