Sassy’s Satellite to Open Gallery in Downtown Schenectady

Schenectady, N.Y. — The ground floor of the former Labor Temple at 105 Clinton Street in downtown Schenectady will soon feature Sassy’s Satellite Pop Culture Gallery.

Daniel Fay, owner of Sassy’s Satellite has been collecting toys, movie memorabilia and original art for over 40 years.  A graphic and product designer, Daniel has created thousands of toys, figures and packages for a wide variety of clients. He recently designed the 20th Century Toy Chest exhibit now on display at miSci in Schenectady.

Mr. Fay said, “Sassy’s Satellite offers our customers a dazzling array of pop culture collectibles from around the world. Our downtown gallery will feature vintage toys, painted statues, model figure kits, movie posters, props and memorabilia, celebrity autographs, as well original art. We plan to host many exciting events, including celebrity appearances, and introduce folks to things they haven’t seen before in the Electric City.”

Sassy’s Satellite has an extensive inventory of collectibles that will be on display for sale at the new retail gallery. Selection will rotate as to always have something new to offer and excite.

The new gallery is planning to open in early January.

The upper floors at 105 Clinton Street will house six apartments.
